Continuing Professional Development
A series of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops developed by SEED Institute would help pre-school teachers to remain employable and raise the standards of the field of early childhood education.
As a CET centre, SEED Institute believes in lifelong learning for lifelong employability and with these CPD workshops, pre-school teachers and principals are able to continually upgrade their professional skills.
Apart from CPD courses, SEED Institute also has a list of general workshops for centres to select from.
Certificate in Relief Teaching
The Certificate in Relief Teaching programme is developed by SEED Institute to provide some basic ECCE training to candidates so that they can carry out their job more effectively. The job requirements include: carry out routine care, facilitate simple play activities, assist class teachers in guiding children’s behaviours, provide adequate safety and promote good nutritional practices. This is a 1 week, full-time programme.
SEED Institute will be working with an appointed recruitment agency for deployment of trained relief teachers to various operators. Operators will liaise with recruitment agency directly for relief teaching requirements.
Access to Resource Library Centre
SEED Institute Resource Library has an extensive collection of books in the field of early childhood care and education.
Updated regularly to keep up with the latest developments, members can access to more than 8,000 titles comprising textbooks, manuals, resource books, current periodicals, regional publications, journals, online publications and children’s literature.
Members can sign out for the loan of resource kits as well as loan up to maximum of 4 book titles for a loan period of 2 weeks, at SEED Institute Library.
Priority Event Invitation
As an appointed CET Centre by WDA, SEED Institute has undertake the role to assist professionals to seek employment in the early childhood industry. To facility this recruitment scheme, SEED Institute will offer members:

▪ Job placement opportunities to recruit PRE-SERVICE teacher, undergoing training at SEED Institute
Customized Workshops
To meet your specific needs, SEED Institute conduct customized workshops for the pre-school sector. Centre can request for customized workshop according to own centre needs.
