Payment Scheme & Funding

SEED Institute accepts payment via the following:
  • NETS
  • Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa)
  • Cheque (made payable to "SEED Institute Pte Ltd")

UTAP funding:
(applicable to the programme - Basic Infant Care Training for Caregivers only)
  • Self-sponsored applicant
  • NTUC member throughout the course of study
  • UTAP funding is capped at $250 per year and shall remain at 50% of the unfunded course fee
  • Prevailing terms & conditions apply
  • To apply, the applicant is required to log in to NTUC U Portal after the programme completion

CPCLL funding:
[applicable to the programme - Skills on Interaction with Birth to Three-year-olds in Mandarin (Parents) only]
  • The applicant should be an expectant mother with E.D.D before 31-December-2018 (Singaporeans/PRs only) OR
  • The applicant should be a parent with young children born after 1-January-2015 (Singaporeans/PRs only)

Terms and Conditions

  1. SEED Institute Pte Ltd is committed to maintain the confidentiality of the applicant’s personal information and undertakes not to reveal any of the applicant’s information to any 3rd party without prior written consent of the applicant.
  2. Registration is on first come, first served basis upon receipt of completed application form and payment. 
  3. Course fees are subjected to Goods and Services Tax (GST). Registration fee applies and is non-refundable, unless otherwise stated.
  4. Payment via cheque should be made payable to “SEED Institute Pte Ltd”.
  5. Trainee is to select the correct and suitable language medium of the course (if any) during enrolment. SEED Institute will not be liable for any failures due to enrolling the incorrect language medium.
  6. Programme schedule and venue are subjected to confirmation. SEED Institute Pte Ltd reserves the rights to cancel or re-schedule the class and venue without prior notice.
  7. Trainees are responsible for ensuring that they meet the programme pre-requisites (if any). SEED Institute Pte Ltd will not be liable for any difficulties encountered in the course of training if pre-requisites are not met.
  8. Trainee shall be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the funding scheme as approved by SEED Institute Pte Ltd. 
    For SSG or e2i funded courses, a trainee may be permitted to pay upfront only a portion of the course fee (less the potential funding amount) at the point of application. In the event that the trainee fails to meet any of the requirements set under the funding scheme (as stated below or otherwise), and thereby resulting that his / her application for funding claim to be rejected by SSG or e2i due to any reasons, the trainee is liable to pay the balance of the course fee (ie the potential funding amount) to SEED Institute Pte Ltd: 
      • Trainee achieves less than 100% of the attendance
      • Trainee fails to sit for the required examinations/assessment where applicable
  9. UTAP funding is available to self-sponsored trainees who are NTUC members. Trainees are required to pay upfront the full programme fee and upon completion, login to www.ntuc.org.sg to apply for the funding. 
  10. Programme status notification will be sent to you via email. If you do not hear from us Three (3) working days prior to commencement, please email to register@seedinstitute.edu.sg hello@parentscollege.com.sg or contact us at 6332 0668.
  11. Request of Withdrawal:
      • For withdrawal of programme, a written notice must be submitted and received by SEED Institute Pte Ltd before programme commencement. The following refund policy applies.

        If Student's Written Notice of Withdrawal is Received
        100% 30 days or more before the Course Commencement Date
        75% 14 days to 29 days before the Course Commencement Date
         0% Less than 14 days before the Commencement Date 
      • Note: 100% programme fee will be charged in the event that applicant did not turn up for class, and no request of withdrawal/deferment (where applicable) is received before programme commencement.
  12. Examination and Assessment:
      • Trainees are advised to be punctual on the day of examination / assessment.  Late participants may be barred from taking the examination / assessment.
      • If trainee is found cheating, trainee will be barred from the examination / assessment, and SEED Institute Pte Ltd will reserve the rights to take necessary actions.
  13. Statement of Attainment (SOA): 
      • Trainee has to be assessed as ‘Competent’ in the assessment for WSQ Programme in order to receive the Statement of Attainment (SOA).
      • SEED Institute Pte Ltd will inform trainee when the SOA is ready for collection.

Dispute Resolution

SEED Institute provides a channel for students to resolve dispute and grievances through the following stages.

Stage 1
  • Student shall approach and report to Programme Management Executive, and provide details of the dispute/grievance
  • If the matter remains unresolved, proceed to Stage 2

Stage 2
  • Meeting shall be arranged between the student, Programme Management Manager and appointed academic teaching faculty
  • If the matter remains unresolved, proceed to Stage 3

Stage 3
  •  An appointed team shall have meeting with the student
  • If the matter remains unresolved, proceed to Stage 4

Stage 4
  • The matter shall be referred to CPE's Student Service Centre (SSC). SSC may refer the matter through CPE Mediation-Arbitration Scheme.
  • The scheme is jointly drawn up with the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) to provide mediation and arbitration services for students

Refund Policy
